Default Slowepoke scx10 tr

So the wife got me a scx10 tr for my birthday. I wanted to make it my own. So what I've done to it is:

cc sidewinder esc
proline '70 F-100 body (painted the inside and out)
moved the battery tray to the front and electric box to the back (for a gas tank type look)
3racing winch
Traxxas 3 channel rx/tx
custom 4 link in the rear, stock 4 link in the front (when I get the rest of the hardware tomorrow)
homemade license plate.

I know thread's are pointless with out pics!!!
So here you go

When it was new

The inner coat of paint

One of the outer coats

What it looks like now

The winch

My plate

A little flex

You can see the links

Yes they are old arrows. I couldn't find the tubing I wanted so I improvised. I have 8-32 threaded rod going through it so I could make a custom size to fit the body.

OK so I did some work on it after some planning.

Added some rear fender wells (front to come soon)
Got my sidewinder programed and installed
put in a 2.4 ghz radio

Next will be some tire chains.
Oh yeah gonna paint my rear lower links.

Time for the pic's

A look at the fenders with the body on

Those inner fender wells sure do make it look a lot cleaner! Nice work. Needs some scratches now! :P

Default Action shots

So the family and I went up to Bass lake this weekend. I had a chance to get to the scx10 of and took some pics.

And at the end of the day I decided to strike a pose.

I took a lot more but I liked these the best. All in all we had a great weekend.

Your Dingo looks really nice.

Can I ask you why you painted the inner and outter side of the body?

Is this because once scratched, the paint will look like primer (gray) ?

Also, did you try this body with 2.2" tires?

Sylvain: I did it that way so as the outside gets scratch up it looks like rust showing through. No I haven't tried 2.2's I'm not a big fan of them.

2500hdon37s: I did notice that after I installed it I'll play with the slipper tonight if I get time.

crawler newbie: Thats awesome maybe we can get together in the next couple weeks.
