Default Honch-Taco....

Yup another one. This is my first scaler tho. I have been building in my free time between work days. I do have the next two days off and I am going to put in some work.

current progress.

I had a supposedly new fxr that I got on another axial build and it turned out to have something wrong and was fried. I will send it in but I had this new Mamba Max lying here so I threw it in for the time being, much larger then I want in this rig but it will do for now. If its not smooth enough I will put in the Tekin RS with 17.5 turn motor.

I love the waterproofing capability of the reciever box....with a FXR and sr3500 I think it would be a perfect fit. Should come in handy next winter when we go to Utah for snow runs.

Yeah I just got mine put together also. Paint was going to be the last thing I did. But I am not a patient person. HAHAHA

Well lost some time with the rig due to my wifeys b-day. Spent some time with her yest and today. But working on the paint right now. This is the color but it is a bit darker in person like a light putty....going for that FJ color TOYO has.

At least you are realistic and having fun. Having a good time is all that matters in the big picture.

Thanks grizzly. It has to be the most fun I have had on a build in a long time. I have been looking for a way into scalers for a long time and this may be my gateway drug!!

I backed the khaki with some black to darken it a smidge. Came out sick!!

I can get some when I get there...The tube is attactched to the body with six screws and it will be attatched with 4 regular body posts when I get around to cutting them.
