Default Difficulty finding a nice mounting position for a Goat 3s

Anyone else have a Honcho running a Goat 3s that they would care to show pictures of how they have it mounted on the chassis. Having problems trying to find a nice spot to fit it all in Esc, BEC,fan etc. All adds up to quite a lump.

might could make a plate to fill the gap between the bed and chassis right behind the cab. and mount it in there. would fill that ugly gap too.

this is how i put mine in.... just measured from the frame to just inside of where the body sat over the rock rails and cut some decently thick lexan, sheet plastic, or styrene to fit and screw it on mounting it to the rock rails mounting holes....

its changed a little since this pic was taken, I've added more stuff to my chassis so I'll get some new pics here sometime....

Either a plate like this

Or make up an L shaped bracket which would attach where the sliders go then up and over the transmission and mount it on that.

OK,
Well this is just about it now.

Have made more deck space by drilling some extra holes in a battery tray and thus bolting two battery trays together allowing me to add the Esc and LiPo. Have also attatched the Goat 3S BEC as per the instructions and so far so good, all is working well using a 3S LiPo.

Need to add the winch some how but that can wait to be honest. The radio box is a tad small to be of any real help and I was tempted to add the receiver to the elongated battery tray.

I ended up moving my battery/tray to the rear location and mounted my esc on the steering servo. This won't work if you plan on using the trail honcho body though.
