| Got a honcho! VERY IMPRESSED!
Got my honcho in a few days back. I ordered it Tuesday from tower and got it Friday. Im very impressed to say the least. I came from a cc-01. Which was very unimpressive. It always had gear issues and just didnt perform too well imo. I got it from tower for $240 shipped ( rtr version). They had a $60 off $300 or more. Electronics- Everyone says RTR electronics are bad. Heres my take Motor has decent torque and wheelspeed, imo plenty for what im doing Servo has around 100OZ of torque i heard and it does pretty well Esc- I dont know really, it does its job, wish it had drag brake Radio system- does fine for me ( i use 2.4 in other cars). I ran this for a good 1.5 hours today, crawled over tons of rocks, up huge dirt hills put PLENTY of strain on all electronics and they all did fine. Cons- Back body pins are a PITA to remove. Front bumper has a bad approach angle, gets hung up easy Esc mount is horrible. It hangs right infront of the motor with servo tape and falls off easy. Here are some pics! brand new- TRAIL RUN PICS- SOME ROCK CRAWLING- SORRY THESE WERE TAKIN WITH MY PHONE |

Nice action shots I agree about the stock electronics... the motor and ESC do their jobs respectively, but I will say it needs a drag brake... and a beefier servo... |
