Default Rc4wd R2 tranny

ok i got a honcho transformed to a cherokee with 2.2s and would really like a 2 speed transmisson and i was think r2 from rc4wd. will this still give me plenty of low touqure and high speed? and how hard would it be to install? (if anyone wants i can post pics of the cherokee with 2.2s)

id go with a summit trans if you want a 2 speed that will go fast and crawl.

Have always heard a lot of negativity regarding the R2 tranny, however, as said above, the summit tranny conversion works well.

Jason sells mounts for it in the vendors forums.

I have ran the R2, but they are noisy. Good trans for the most part , but youll wish you had gone summit.
