Default Country Crawler's SCX10 Honcho

Well, I went and I picked up a RTR Honcho, from Brians Hobbyland. Thanks man . When I got to run it it was dark, my first thought out of the box was, Wheel speed. Out of the box it has plenty wheel speed. I was jumping it in my house, and leaving rubber marks on the tile floor from the flat irons. The lights, are def are a big help. I was driving it in my yard at about 11:30 p.m. and it lit it up pretty good. The tail lights are pretty sweet. I got to run it out on my KOH course I made on part of my motocross track. My first thought when running it outside was, "THIS IS SUPER FUN!!!" This is my first scaler, and the first crawler i've had with this much wheel speed. I was jumping it a good 3ft. It was a blast. The crawling ability out of the box is not that great. The controller is very touchy. My spektrum's are alot better than the axial. It gets hung up on alot of stuff, with the small tires and what not but thats to be expected. I have to say this is alot funner than my first losi, and now it is alot funner than my 2nd losi. I enjoy it very much.

Pics after I get done driving.

they are verry fun!

to help with crawling ablity you can
trim the battery tray holders to sit lower
4-link rear
and weight them flat irons!
and your gonna want a Holmes 30t hand wound motor with a 15 ot 16t pinoin and its gets a lot smoother

Lol. That was a pretty cool vid. I figured it would be a little hard to do a donut with a 4 wheel drive w/ 4 wheel stear.

I went wheelin, but it was just too dang hot for any pictures. But all of a sudden my throttle quits working, but steering works, then I hear the noise it makes when you turn it on and all was good?

Well I figured out what my problem was.

Cables broke. Now if I can just find my soldering iron.

Made me some fender well's too.

3 battery packs and my flat iron's are already starting to wear. You can see it a little in the pics.

Yeah when i took it out of the box the esc fell out of the body so i just stuck it to my frame rails then the sticky came off and it just flopped around til it broke.

I just hot glued my esc to the back of the receiver box, stays in place really well and it's easy to remove it as well.

I took a butter bowl and cut it in half right down the bottom. Then i trimmed it to fit and drilled a hole so it would bolt to my shocks, then i painted them blaclk.
