Default 4- Link front...

I got a question...Are some of you going to 4 links on the front axle? If so how are you attaching the top links at the front. I have an old AX-10 servo mount setup, that is broken and needs a new one cut out of delrin, or is there a better way?

Thanks!!

Axial 4 link mount or R2J make a killer 4 link mount

I used the servo plate from my GC2 comp rig.The upper links mount to the bottom of the plate. This is a pretty ez thing to make at home and works great.

you can use the factory scx10 tr 4-link truss just what ever your lower link is subtract 8 and that is the correct upper length, the factory truss will fit the axle without trimming anything and the servo will mount above it still.

4 linked mine with the TR 4 link truss. i used 98 mm links on bottom with STEERING rod ends on the axle end for a scale ground clearance look. used a 60mm attached to a 35mm post (per side) for the uppers. ditched the 45 degree rod ends on the chassis for straight rodends, pinion angle is perfect now. no clearance issues for the steering servo mount. hope this helps

The hand brothers kit is killer. Its not a front 4 link but its a realistic version of a 3 link and trac bar. Good Luck

I had the same question but if you 4link the front and mount the servo off the axle (chassis mount or elsewhere) dont you experience bumpsteer? If the servo is on the front axle and you 4link it then your fine right? I have my scaler 4linked front and rear and the servo mounted on the chassis and i get a little bumpsteer. I think im getting only a little cause my rig is very low.

servo on the axle = no bump steer
servo mounted on chassis = possibly to likely.
i kept mine on the axle. i think it all boils down to preference.

I have the hand bros kit and the bump stops removed from the shocks. Is it me or do ya loose alittle articulation do to the link hitting the chassis? My rears bottoms out on the shock but not the fronts.

So, is the servo still on the axle?

You going to post pics on our site of the 2.2s?
