Default Tamiya jeep Wrangler Hard Body build

New to the scale scene and I want to build the above mentioned using the Honcho as the starting point. I really dont know where to start? I know the jeep is gonna be a very short wheel base. I guess my main question is how can I achieve the correct wheel base?? Different links?? cut the frame?? both?? Where do I start?

Shorten both front and rear links but leave the front axle where it is and move both the rear axle and tranny forward so that it's all evenly spaced. You will need to cut the rear and possibly the front off the frame rails too. I almost started a build like this so did a lot of research. Good luck.
