Default Sj's Macho Honcho

Hello people, Im a Newb with plans of a pretty sweet Honcho build on my Mind! Ive had it for about a month and a Half, Ive been into R/C drifting and I have a Sponsored Drift Team, with about 8 members right now, and well we needed some thing for us to do during the Fall and winter when stuff like leaves and debris started to fall it was getting hard to drift So we needed something to craw over all the crap on the ground! So Some of the Team and I went to pick up some Crawlers and well I really Didnt like Any thing I saw till I saw the Hancho!

I will be posting up here when I upgrade her and post up pics of Crawl sessions, And of course will be asking questions on how to improve the Honcho!

Here is a pic of me in the Blue shirt Working on our Drift Course for a Big Demo my Team and I Did for XDC @ Texas Motor Speed Way..

Now For my Honcho!

If you click on the "upload now" tab you'll go to this screen:

Then click on the "Customize your upload options" button (circled in red)and then select the size you want your pics to be uploaded as.

Yeah it was easy!

Light brown Primer then Took a Leaf and pulled all the green stuff off of it and use the skeleton part of the leaf and hit it up with some green with the airbrush!

Why do you want to lift it ? You will compromise the capability of the truck with the higher COG. Keep it low and trim the body. The lower the better unless u are just mud bogging.

Oh okay I see!

Didnt think to cut the Body, I did that to my drift cars! I would cut the body to bring it way down so that I wouldnt have a Wheel Gap!

In the Drift World in some cases you get Froun upon for having to much of a wheel gap!

Here is a Picture of the Macho Honcho crawling on my Hot Bodies Cyclone CS Drift Car!

- So, Should i leave the Stock shock & spring set up on the truck?

- Do I just put wheel weights on the Front Wheels or on all 4 coners?

- Whats up with drilling holes in the wheels,? Should I do this, & What do I gain from this?

As far as the weights go yea all 4 corners is best but more front weight bias, drilling the wheels alows the tires to breath and form around the rocks better. When there sealed the tires tend to bounce and not grab.

Cool!

Do a lot of Honcho owners drill holes into the wheels?
