Default anyone running their scx10 on the sand?

i live on the beach and would like to occasionally go crawl around down there. i am in process of making a course in back yard but would like to go free crawling also. and since the beach is 20' away, its pretty convienent. just normal after beach care or am i going to trash my new rig? lol

check out the vid, but make sure you plug up the holes on top of the axles and clean with an air compressor afterwords

I've run mine on the beach before.
Just do the same thing as it you were running your 1:1 on the beach.

Good clean with fresh water and then lube well. Thats it.

I crawl on the beach all the time. Just blow the truck off when your done and it will be just fine never had a problem.
Sand works its way into anything tho after the whole summer I found a few specks of sand in my axles lol and in the BL motor on my slash

Have fun

thanks guys. pretty simple. thank you all.... and yeah. the salt water is good for nothing. even my drums pit and show the air/water marks on them. constant up keep living by salt water... but hell. its always better at the beach...

I live a couple blocks from the beach and my buddies and me some times bash at the beach, no problems at all with them, just wash it down with fresh water to get the salt off then quickly air hose it down to get the water off, do not drive it into the water at the beach obviously.
