Default Dumb Question

This may be a dumb question but is the axial tranny a 1:1 and the gear reduction is made up by the pinion and spur gear?

google it!

http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/Press...04-07/AX10.htm

Transmission: 2.6:1; center mounted

if it was 1:1, why would there need to be any gears in it at all?

most of those people also have a reduction box of some sort at their motor aswell, often an AX10 transmision.

Yeah ive seen alot of that, the main reason I asked all this is i was trying to find the final ratio of my rig and didnt know if the axial tranny was 1:1 or it had gear reduction and i didnt even think about looking it up on google
