Default quick question

i sold my traxxas slash, and i have an aftermarket battery left from it. Its an 8.4V 4600mah battery, can i safely run this in my axial scx10 honcho without burning the motor out or doing any damage?? I tried searching this but no luck

Slightly longer answer, if it's 2s lipo there is no low voltage cutoff, so after a hour and a half or so watch running the battery to low and hurting it.

I've been running a 7 cell NIMH in mine for a couple months on the stock ESC. Everything's OK.

You get a bit more wheelspeed, which I didn't really want, but Oh well, the runtime is a bit longer.
