Default TNBiscuit's Hacked-Up 2.2 Dingo

So I've had it for a couple months now. I bought it as a roller and added the electronics from a slash 4x4 because i knew I'd hit the mud as soon as I got within range. I'm slowly getting it where i want it and see new mods on here everyday that i want to try. Now onto the stats and mods!

-Bumpers trimmed after the first run
-vxl with velineon brushless motor from a slash 4x4
-2.4g traxxas tx/rx
-traxxas servo 2075
-steel gears for the tranny (plastic lasted about 3minutes with the velineon)
-Integy metal driveshafts (ground and drilled so they actually stay together)
-2.2" black axial beadlocks
-2.2" Integy ERC5 tires for the mud
-Body and fenders trimmed to fit 2.2's
-Roof added for my tastes (loved the bikini top i had on my 1:1 Wrangler)
-Rear of rollcage cut off when i got pissed trying to reach the rear body posts

The Donor

All suggestions and comments are welcome...except for that guy who doesnt like 2.2's on an scx10, buzz off!

Not so much my taste but it looks like she's a mud rockin' monster, eh? I never understood putting a VXL in a crawler but it's your toy, your way I wouldnt mind having a straight up mud truck with the VXL though...more like the TTC trucks...

I thought my slash 4x4 motor would be way to fast but after so trials I think its the way to go for muddin. Right now I've got a 14t pinion and i think an 84t spur so even with the velineon its still not moving real fast. When I first got the truck i tried a 55t motor but the tires wouldnt clean themselves. I got a 27t motor and it would bog down in the thick clay that i run in. Even with the velineon in it I'm still bogging down in the thick stuff so i thick i may switch from the 8.4v nimh i use now to a 3s lipo when i get the money. I'm still hangin on to the 55t for the rocks but i dont really have many to play on around here.

Sounds dumb but I always had more fun with my 4x4 Slash playing in the mud than what I had racing it on the track lol. I left it all stock with a 3S lipo...she was a rocket for sure. I always had a great time when the oval was muddy...we'd get a bunch of trucks out there bashing...that was fun...until we had to clean the clay off lol.

thats the joy of waterproofing. a water hose, a stiff paintbrush, and a can of wd40 and ur good to go. i got rid of my slash 4x4 bc i didnt have time to race. the scx10 stays in my truck most times and i can randomly pull it out and run a pack thru it...best beleive i'll be gettin a race truck as soon as i can afford it though!

More carnage. Busted my front end and then realized I had already broken the rear axle brace...again. I just got done replacing it. I see some aluminum in my near future.
