nice plow! Could you put up more pics and how/what you built it. I've been thinking about building one for my truck too.

PVC pipe cut length wise and screwed to a bracket that ataches to the truck

Do you use the winch to pick up the plow?? thats a pretty cool idea if thats the case. good job

Yes. I threw this together with extra parts and stuff I had. Its really nothing fancy but it only took a few hours and it works great. I will post some pics and details later.

That thing looks cool. have you thought bout painting the plow at all? Like Red for Boss or yellow for Fisher?

Paint it yellow with a smiley face. Thats what one of our trucks at work has... nothing like plowin snow and seeing a smiley face

Ya its fun! The chains probably took longer to build than the plow. It's hard to believe it took about 13 feet of chain to make them!

You plow snow at 50mph??

Great looking truck motur! Yeh chains are time consuming and you need a lot of chain. I remember making some for a Maxx and went and bought 15foot of chain thinking to myself that it seemed like way too much. Two hours later I was back at the same shop for another 15 feet of chain

Yea chains take an awful lot of time to build. I bought 20Feet of Jack Chain at wal-mart for like 7 bucks
