Default Honcho drive shaft issues

So i am a new owner of a honco thanks to finish line rc and all their help....but i am use to my real crawler and still learing about the scaling side, My main issue right now is my front drive shaft keeps falling off at the diff, i put thread lock on the set screw and tightend it but i am scared to over tighten it...even with the thread lock its still coming off, any ideas?

The stock drive shafts are junk. The problem with them falling off is very common, do yourself a favor and pick up a set of junfac or mip drive shafts.

I kind of beg-to-differ My stock Axial drive shafts are AWESOME. I won 2nd place in a competition, and i bought the truck brand new as a RTR about 4 months ago. never had a single problem with them at all. I do plan on upgrading, but not until these start giving me problems. Get the ones that arctichorse has ^^^^^^^^^^

Yep been running the stock ones for about 8 months and have only had to replace two plastic shafts so far, plus I am running a VP dig. if you are losing the yoke off the shaft make sure the yoke theads are not striped or the shaft isnt rounded off where it will let it move back and forth.

Watch the Junfac shafts, they may be to short on the rear if your running the Honcho.

I busted my stock shafts on a loose dirt climb, they suck IMO. I run Traxxas stampede shafts for now, cheap easy to get and tough. Not sure if they are long enough for the Honcho?
