I just gving you my two cents and Im not bashing you just my opinion whatever you do with your rig is your business and I respect that but just for fun my friend and I but 110mm shocks on his honcho and it didnt look right at all, 95mm to 100 should be ok, but like I said what ya like is what ya like good luck bud |

Stock shock shafts are 50mm long. If you install longer ones (properly bump stopped) and longer springs (or lower the spring collars) you can "lift" the truck to various heights. The benefit being that you keep the same amount of articulation and aren't flopping over all over. That's how I have my H2 setup and I have been very pleased with it. These shafts will get you about 1/2" of lift: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSAN7&P=7 There are longer shafts out there (search shock shaft on tower) and you can add longer rod ends on the shocks as well. For the longer springs, you can always use 2 of the longer style springs that come on the SCX10 shock: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXGF1&P=7 |
