what would i gain by mounting front servo on frame or is this more trouble then its worth

It looks better and is much more realistic if you do it with something like a hand bros 3 link kit.


If you run through the picture links you find floating around you'll see that the vehicles that look more realistic tend to have chassis mounted steering.

It can be more difficult to get perfect which is why it is typically rewarded at scale competitions ... including the new SORRCA rules:
