Default Electronics check

I'm going to buy an scx10 honcho and i was wondering if i could get some feedback about some electronics. First of i was wondering if the stock servo is waterproof? Next i was wondering if all these electronics would work together.

.RC4WD XR4 4-Channel 2.4Ghz Transmitter/Receiver
.3Racing Automatic winch w/control system
.Stock ESC
.Stock servo or a traxxas servo

Thanks.

I believe the stock servo is water resistant not water proof.

I have heard good and bad about the rc4wd tx. Do a search and you will see some good info on it from members who have it.

the winch is always fun and good to run. Should work with what ever you want to run on a radio as long as you have a 3 position switch option.

The stock esc works but is limiting as far as no options for drag brake etc...

Stock servo again will work but is extremely weak for crawling! You would do better with something much stronger. Traxxas 2075 is a decent starting one if your looking for water proof.

Other then that just do some searching around and looking at what other members are running. You will find a lot of great feedback on different products and set ups that work and don't work.

Happy scaling
