Default Options for extending stock chassis

What options have you guys come up with for extending the frame on an scx10? The body I am using is about 2-2.5 inches longer than the frame. I need to extend the rear so I can mount the leaf springs and have a perfectly centered axle. Another thing to consider is I need it to be completey reversible incase I decide to change the body later.

You could copy Bender's 6x6 for the frame extension.
