| Robbing bodys from other RC's.
I have a question, I'm on a budget so I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck. I found this on Amazon, New Bright - 1:10 Radio Control Land Rover Now I have a stock RTR Hancho so the wheel base is what 12.3? Can I easily adapt this body to my Hancho RTR? I've seen many of these conversions just woundering if anyone knows if this is the right body to do so. Thanks in advance..... -RCBreeze Last edited by RCBreeze; 01-14-2011 at 11:40 AM. |

Search button brings up a lot. Not sure about the WB of the honcho vs the dingo/stock, but you can always make or buy shorter links.... http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=214685&highlight=land+rover http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=265812&highlight=land+rover http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=287520&highlight=Land+Rover http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=281265&highlight=Land+Rover http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=190075&highlight=Land+Rover |

I have the New Bright body and looking back I wish I would of spent the money on a Rastar Land Rover body it is a little bigger and it is way more scale. here are some links. http://cgi.ebay.com/Rastar-Remote-Co...item255f51e0f0 http://cgi.ebay.com/Rastar-RC-Land-R...item27b79ead73 Last edited by darkmanx; 01-14-2011 at 12:53 PM. |

Ebay is dry on the LR3 1:10 scale models. Anyone know where the Raster 1:10th scale models can be purchased?

Any of the LR3 bodies will require extensive modification to the links on your honcho. Mine required parts for 4 linking the rear and cutting and tapping my factory links and required moving the rear shock towers forward. I removed almost an inch from my links but mine was from the original, shorter wheelbase scx10 kit. It can be done but requires some serious effort. That's the exact body I used on mine. I loved the color and had to have it.

All of these toy RC hard body cars were sold at places like Radio Shack, Target, Walmart, Kmart, and such. However, I have had good luck finding them real cheep at the Good will store, or other stores like that. Happy hunting.
