Default nissan_driver24 SCX10 Rig Pics

I have been a lurker on here for a while seeing all of the great projects everyone on here, so I decided I'll share what my rig looks like for fun. I'll let my current pics do the talking. The last couple of runs I scratched the truck up pretty bad but oh well... I have a LR3 project coming up and might upgrade my electronics in the near future.

Wow, lots of money has been tossed here. Should be a very capable rig with some good tires and a decent driver. Well done.

What front bumper is that? It looks a lot like the ARB bumper I have on my 1:1 Jeep.

Thanks for the kind words guys... to respond to some of the questions/comments:

(revo au) The gear box is a vanquish axial housing with stock gears and a vaquish dig,

(discgolferlee & constantmotion) The 7955 servo is a bit over kill for a dig but I have a few of them laying around, I plan on using a good micro servo once I get one,

(discgolferlee) The rear driveline are Traxxas plastic one with the Axial ring because 1)the dig force me to use a much shorter driveline and I have three MIP ones sitting in my pit box, 2)I haven't had one problem at all with this setup, I purposely try to break it using a 3 cell in carpet doing some hard wheelies (although I did make it pop off without the metal rings installed but once they were installed never popped off), 3) I have a ton of them so if they do break it's a simple cheap fix. 4) I don't know if many people notice this but the bigger bulky drive lines tend to snag on the rocks more than the skinnier plastic ones..

(Gotlime?) The front bumper is from the Axial Dingo.

nice the traxxas shafts are a definite upgrade over axials!! after i posted i did wonder to myself if it had to do with the dig and driveshaft length issue. nice rig and hopefully I didn't come off as an ass in above comments because I do love the rig. on the servo. it's a real nice servo and I hear ya on using what you already got
love the vanquish goodies you got on there as well as your servo mount.

what axles are those???

(chicostaxxs007) The winch cable is the original rc4wd metal cable that came with their winch.

(th67ss) I don't think I will ever be happy with the truck it just seems like but yeah I have some plans on it for right now, I am in the process of working on my LR3 body which I will need to shorten the wheel base a bit for and I will be upgrading my esc and motor soon and waterproof everything.

(discgolferlee) thanks and it's all good, you didn't come off as an ass to me at all, the servo is one of my fav out there hence why I have 4 of them Hitec has been awesome to me and I stand by their product, the axle housing are the Golden Horizon AX10 housing with Axial guts.

(RxTx) I will be posting some actions pics up soon.

So I made so changes to my rig: locked out the dig and mounted the servo backwards to use as a rear winch. I moved the servo to the driver side so it looks a little more real, raised and reenforced the front bumper. Finally I pulled the trigger and bought a Tekin FXR ESC & 35T Tekin motor, installed it into the reciever box and installed a castle BEC all of the electronics are now sealed and waterproofed. Here are some pics and let me know what you guys think.

I believe it came from a axial parts tree, something I found laying around in box.
