by the way u picked a great hobby

for your flex issue the best thing to do is add wheel weights to the rim inside the tire and foams and take that little rubber piece off the shock shaft also if you are having problems going up hill mount the battery lower and farther forward on the chassis

for the parts i chose ckrc crawlers for online parts and i go down to my local amain hobbies for little rod ends and metal links and such

also there is links on axials site i believe but if u are having problems finding what u want or any question really about your scx10 email one of the axial reps they are real nice and helpfull

a 55t motor will give you a less speed and a little more torque.

I am new to the hobby also and I also just bought a SCX10 kit. I installed a Novak 55T with a Rooster crawler ESC. So far it seems to work well but I haven't really had it on the rocks yet. I did swap out the pinion for a 21 tooth and it gave me more wheel speed but I haven't had it out of the garage since so I don't know how much torq I lost. This hobby is like having a drug addiction and the hard part is keeping the wife from knowing how much I spend.
