| gang greens bronco turned dingo dovetailed
so i loved the way the bronco body looked and how the tires tucked and all that but i wanted it to perform/ crawl mo better so i dove taield the stock dingo body and cut the seat area out to make it look a little more realistic cut the front fenders almost off and trimmed up the grill area also trimmed the cage to fit the dove tailed body ............i think im gonna attempt to do the same to the bronco body but idk yet any suggestions cuz i still want a scaler body oh i also re did my electronics and duct tape job lol i swear duct tape clear plastic wrap and zip ties can save the world from anything lol i have absolutely nothing behind the motor and tranny was also debating making a bronco flat bed .... idk what do u guys think... i must say i love that this thing can climb up the cub its saweeet it took some tuning and weight transfer issues but finally got it i figured that if it can climb up a curb sideways it will crawl pretty well and so far ive been right pretty good amount of flex i dont kno if i like the bumper like that i might trim it up a bit high performance duct tape roof panels more flex shots ....... . ......... ..... .... this thing looks sweet but it needs to be painted black and have some stickers not bad for a box cutter some duct tape and some needle nose pliers i used the pliers to bend the lower part of the c channel frame near the steering servo so it wont rub any more and bind up the oscilation almost too lite in the rear the seats dont look to bad but i definatly need a steering wheel looks goofy as hell without the cage i think im gonna paint the wind shield black and put it on the bronco it looks awersome hey i got a question for every body ive seen these fricken bad ass racing seats everyone has and ive tried to find them so far all i kno is that they are for your cell phone does anyone kno where to get them ?????? soooo what do u think back to the bronco or mess with this some more |

I totally agree the duct tape does make it look like crap but its all i have. Im going to spray paint the duct tape black to see if it'll make it look a little better. thanks for the advice on the rear bumper, i'm keeping it on but trimming it down a bit. thanks for the links for the seats also. |

Any chance you could email me a few detailed pics of what you did to the cage when you dovetailed the back of the truck?? I have a Dingo that's "modified" but I've been thinkin about dove tailing it, just wasn't sure on what to do with the cage. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! |

lol, personally i love the duct tape. After i trashed the body on my 4x4 slash and ive started to mangle my dingo body i've thought about covering my whole body in colored duct tape just to see if it would hold up better.

Just thought I'd check in and let u know that I started my dove tail project last night and I gotta say it's going very well. I'm about 80% done with it but I need to go buy a rivet tool to complete the project. I elected to go with a thin piece of sheet metal for the rear of the body instead of Duct Tape... No offense. Lol I'll be sure to post up a few pics of the finished product... |

hell yea dude the rivet set is what i wanted to use lol i just finished my black bronco. i dove tailed it and moved some of my electronics around and lost like almost all the duct tape lol all i used for the dove tail was 1 metal support link and two little screws and NO duct tape!!!!! lol i did not know that styrene was that inexpensive lol but also im n a hotel room so i cant really like melt it or have any fumes so.... maybe later i will post pics of the bronco when i get back from the hospital it looks rad and crawls way good |

Well here's a few pics of my finished product... It definitely resembles your rig with a few added touches... I didnt mean to jack your thread either, just wanted to share it with ya since we built two rigs almost exactly like each other. Hope you don't mind. Let me know what y'all think!! |
