Default Tucking the tires in 3/8" more

I think my stock wheeled scx10 would look much better if the tires stuck out about 3/8" less on each side. I do not want to narrow the axles or anything drastic like that and I wish to keep my full turning range. Any clue as to how I can accomplish this?

ditch your hexs and get the rc4wd steelies 1.9s.
they just use a pin mount like the 2wd losi's and ae's.

ive got a set you can tryout..

So what amount of offset do I need a set of wheels to have to get the desired effect? I don't even know what the offset on stock axial wheels is.

you'll want a offset as close to the outside of the wheel as possible.

i.e.-the closer the hex is to the inside of the wheel(axle side)the wider of a stance you'll have, the further away the hex is from the axle the more narrow your stance will be.

*=hex
axle -[* ] -wide
axle -[ *] -narrow *should be zero offset*

pic of a wide off set wheel..hex is almost to inner ring..

narrow offset wheel.. like stang said.. hex is closer to outside of the wheel.

hope i helped some...
ill be getn out crawln this week, hollar if ya wanna go with.
