Default herky jerky ???

I think this was mentioned recently but why is it when I turn off my controller my crawler gets all herky jerky and acts up until I pull the battery connector????? What the hell?!?!?!? It doesn't happen top my other crawler. I'm running a Tekin FX-R... does it matter where the FX-R is mounted.... like if it's on top of the reciever box??? I was working on it the other day on the coffee table and when I turned of the radio it got twitchy and peeled off onto the floor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought SOP was to turn off/unplug RX before TX.

It's because when you shut off the transmitter first you no longer are sending any commands to the rig to tell it what to do, so it just goes and does what ever it wants. You should always shut off your rig first and then shut off the transmitter. That way nothing will take off on you or get wrecked.

Once you've done it a few times you will have the habit down pact

I must be brain farting then lately. I'll try that. I'm sure I was doing it backwards because I was tinkering with it and flipped the order.
