yodacralwer89,

Since you have 20 posts already I believe you have access to the search function now next to Quick Links.

You should star cut only standard foams...never memory foams. Also learn from me if you sipe your tires run them with uncut foams first before cutting them. Once you sipe your tires they are A LOT softer and you may need that extra cushion in the foams to support the rig otherwise your tires will fold in on hard turns.

But here's a good video on how to star cut standard foams:

I was about to go home and cut my stock creeper memory foams. Thanks for the heads up! Would it still make sense to cut of 1/2" on the width of the rear foams?

Star cut foams are a stupid idea. They produce wheel hop as the star shaped foam comes and goes with its off and on support of the tire.

Come on now, they worked pretty good for all of us 5-6 yrs ago

Seriously, rather then cutting get some good foams from CI in vendors. Its hard to beat his selection.

x2, wasted a perfectly good set of foams by cutting the, horrible side wall support and inconsistant.

i agree dont star cut them. i've found by "rounding" the corners of the foams it makes them softer.

i rounded my stock 1.9 flatiron foams and it did just fine for stock tires, also did it to my 2.2 TSL's im running now, also cut about 1/2" off the width of the foam and it does awesome even with no weight in the wheels.
