|  summit tranny
i'm looking into putting the summit 2 speed tranny in my scx 10 and i was wondering what i all need to do this swap? i'm running stock radio and reciever. the only thing i have changed it ESC, servo, and motor. any tips would help

You'll have to fab up a mount for the transmission or pick up one of Jason's mounts. you can find Jason's mount HERE. Unfortunately he's sold out until mid-Feburary. You'll also need a radio that has a minimum of 3 channels. A 2 positon 3rd channel at the very least. You should probably buy a radio system that has a 3 position 3rd channel so that you can use it to control dig or a winch if you go that route instead. Last edited by TSK; 01-30-2011 at 04:03 PM. |
