Default My Comanche build...

This is going to be a slow build, sence most of my money goes to my power hungry cummins. Anyway on to the pics got a few things in yesterday...

16t pinion

Winch

Body

True blue paint.. (yes I know it's horrible)

More pics to follow I hope to have it mounted up tonight. Should I put the honcho cage on it or the cage and bed? I was leaning more to the truggy look but not sure.

Good start so far. Be careful with the hook on the 3-Racing winch, I snapped mine first time out.

Dude keep up the work when you are done it will look beast! I recommend the MT's because they fit pretty well and perform really good on the rocks when you get it all trimmed and ready to go! And i never really see comanche truggy's like ours so stay strong!

Heres mine:

just kind of an example of what the MT's can handle...

Love the Comanche with the honcho tray. Does look sick.

Be careful calling them truggies...the Truggie po-po will come and get rouse on you..

Man those MT's look good! Now I got a problem I bought the pinion because the esc was getting hot and thought diffrent gearing would help wellit didn't. It sputters a little while crawling slow and randomly quits responding, lights stay on but no steering or throttle. It will sit there like that for a while till I flip the remote off then back on then it's good for a few more minutes. Is Itthe receiver? Esc? Remote? Or could it be something else batts. are charged and it still does it it's notthem because it does it on all three of my batts. Anyone know?

Probably your reciever or esc... You could a new of each, the same thing basically happened to me. It didn't move or anything though so yeah, just get a new of both or just an ESC because thats most likely what it would be because of the speed, but then agin the steering. Either way would work, you would get a new one later anyways... Might as well get them now!

umm, i have a waterproof XL-5 Traxxas ESC and DX3E sr300 or 3000 im not sure haha! it comes with the controller... But that setup works pretty good, but i dont plan on getting a winch and stuff or adding anything else so i would recommend a reciever with many slots to put in multiple things like winch, more lights, etc......

Some action pics in the back yard in the "garden"....

I cut the stock front bumper off...

I think now that the bumper is cut I need to lower the body mounts to fill in the gap a little...

New favorite pic...

Let me know what you think...

Looks like you used the wrong kind of paint or didn't clean the body very well before laying it down.

Good news is though you can throw some paint on the outside and no one will be the wiser.

I bought some cheap paint not thinking about it but I'll strip it and repaint. I'm thinking a midnight blue this time.
