Default scx10 body guide

not sure if this has been done before, but the question gets asked quite a bit, so how about some bodies and wheelbases.

honcho: 12.3"
proline 1973 bronco both standard and cgr
proline 1980 blazer cgr
proline both jeep comanchee
proline wrangler unlimited rubicon
proline chevy c10 longbed
proline 1980 chevy pickup 3248-00
proline ford f650 3196-00
tamiya tundra
proline f250

standard: (dingo/kit)11.5
proline 1980 blazer standard
proline 1992 cherokee
proline 2008 wrangler rubicon
proline 1956 ford f100
proline 1970 ford f100
proline chevy c10
proline 07 chevy silverado 3229-00
proline baja bug 3238-61
tamiya humvee
Tamiya highlux
New Bright H2

this is all for now, if anyone else wants to post up some body specs for some other brands than proline feel free and i will add them to the list.

all of these are based off of manufacturers specs and are at least close enough to pass muster. if you want them dead on then some new links may be in order.

if you see a part number to the side it is because multiple listings were on the web site and the one listed was the only one that was close enough.

Great list, The Tamiya Humvee body sits on the 11.5" wheel base very nicely

And if you want to add a different, but very common body, the New Bright JK is a 13.1" WB

We should add a "Custom Length" section where the bodys listed will require new links to fit right and/or modifications

Tamyia Unimog 406 ~9.5 if i remember correctly
Proline '08 Ford F250 :Crew Cab 12.8,

most of the newb questions i see people are looking for a near exact fit, with no modification. that was the reason for this post. most people who are using the other bodies take either already know the specs. or will measure when they get the body.

Far as I can tell, the Cherokee and rubicon bodies have 11.8" wb's according to PL's site.

i forgot to put unlimited on the honcho one. they have both an 11.8inch and a 12.3 inch body for the wrangler. just one is a four door.

New Bright H2 is around 11.5" or so, it's close to the stock SCX10 length.

i am getting 2 different measurements from tower, and tamiya does not have any specs on their site.
on tower hobbies i get 11.3 for the cr01 and 9.9 for the cc01 and both are listed as the same body.

The HPI Bronco fits the stock/Dingo like a glove. Bumpers and sliders on the Dingo line up perfect as well...

Doesnt the honcho come with the links to shorten the wheel base to fit the bodies that would fit the dingo ?
