| 9 volt light setup
How do you set up the lights on a axial scx10 with a 9V so it doesnt drain youe main battery ?

well you wire the leds in series then in paralel to your 9v batt using the appropriate resistor for your leds. ex, wire all your white leds together in serie, wire all your red lights together in serie, then mount these in paralel and to the batt. hope it make sense, for the resistor, check out google, theres websites that will tell you wich resistor to use depending on wich voltage,milliamp,color,etc you have. |

If your LEDs came as a "system", with the control panel, its pretty easy. I've done it, don't have any pics but it isn't too hard to do. Let me know and I'll see if I can get them. |

LED's draw very little voltage/amperage when running off the main battery. I use the reciever as a power supply, plugging them into an open port. With the proper resistor it works great. I doubt you'll notice any drain at all.

if i plug in lights directly into the 3rd channel receiver, can i switch the lights on and off using it?
