Does anyone disconnect their driveshaft for fun? I have a 45t motor on its way, but I am thinking about picking up something like an Integy 19t and running 2wd, just for fun. No real reason, just to make trails more challanging. Would it be pretty quick with a 19t? I don't want to go brushless, just invested in a HH TM, so no brushless for me... Shane |

I keep mine 4wd. I have plenty of 2wds to play around with... no need to change anything out

Sometimes I like to remove the motor altogether and push my truck around on the ground while making Vrrrooom Vrrrooom sounds.

The thought has crossed my mind but I've never done it. What's more fun actually is to take out the front and/or rear locker and run open diffs if you want more of a challenge.

i just pulled the front inner axles out, that way you don't get any torque bind in the front, Ran a 12T Titan, was fun till i burnt two holes in the hardwood floors.

Yeah WL that was really funny... I have also had it happen by accident, that set screw set up is not ideal. I bring an allen with me now, but I didn't want to run it with the driveshaft flopping around on me. I do think it would be fun to try, and thats a good idea about removing the shafts. I like the idea about open diffs but that really bugs me in the 1:1, so I don't know if I would like it, I think I would rather just have two good rear wheels. Also I was thinking about front end damage, I am sorry to say that I am running the plastic junk from the **uhm** ready to run. I will be upgrading my front end in the very near future... Shane |

Since the motor and tranny aren't flipped, couldn't a person just run a dig to select 2wd, 4wd or burnout?

put an open diff in the front axle! makes it a lot more fun! but 2wd is about useless on the trails. the open diff adds a bit of challange and still have 4wd most of the time but atleast always 3wd

Yeah, 2wd is annoying. Ive lost the front driveshaft a couple times and your stuck in your tracks. Even on flat ground if the dirt is soft, muddy or grass is too high you get stuck. Matt |

Ive dropped a couple shafts and 2wd is just annoying as hell after doing that. Even more annoying when you have to backtrack and find the other end of the shaft, so no thanks on 2wd..
