Default question about cms

After searching and looking at all the pictures everyone has posted I can't tell If the panhard bar is supposed to be. I mean how much of an angle can it be with the tie rod. I know the panhard and draglink are supposed to be parrell. Right now with just the servo plate bolted into stock holes. The ball link on the servo side of the panhard is just forward of the tierod. I'm waiting to build the draglink until I get this all correct first.

It depends on a few things, but I've always been taught you want the panhard as close to parallel with the ground at ride height as possible. This give it the maximum amount of suspension travel in bound & rebound.

Try looking at a few 1:1 rigs & steal ideas from there. That's what i do and just play round with heights, lengths etc. until you find something that works.

When viewing from the front, they should be at the same angle. The more close to the same angle the better. When viewing from above the closest to parallel the better. They should also be the same length. You can fudge a bit, but go too far and it will not work as well. Hope this helps, but if not ask again.
