Default My Scx10 Pt. 2. Jeep Unlimited Build

This is a continuation of my scx10, my other forum was getting a little long, so I decided to create another for my next build.

My new build is the proline 4 door jeep Unlimited. I have ordered a bunch of proline accessories (pics up soon) which have already arrived in the mail. Im waiting on the jeep body. Its gonna be painted white and black, and im going to paint the rims black as well.

As for the scx10, mostly everything is stock. Idr whatt type of battery I have, all I know is that its blue and works well. I just put in the 55t axial motor and extended my wheel base with the honcho links ( I have the dingo)

Once I get back home in a few days I will start posting pics. Until then check out my other forum (link is under this post)

The winch is not real, its fake, its from the proline accessory kit. I am looking at getting a real one the though. Gonna wait a while before I spend anymore on mine though. As for the body I ordered it online from some place on ebay. I got it for i think 43 total which is about the average price w/o shipping or handling. Took a while to get it though, took them 5 days to ship it, and got here 3 days after that. lol.

Yeah My body is 13" wheel base, except I'm using the New Bright Body. with the stock honcho kit links it fits perfect. but i've still got the 6mm spacers coming to my LHS for me.

Can't wait to see it painted and mounted

I originally wanted the new bright body but couldn't figure out how so space the wheel base that far. One day I will but for now this one will suffice!

Last night I mounted the roof rack and the spare tire. I have to wait for my lexan scissors an stuff to come in before I start cutting at the body. When those come in I will punch holes for the body mounts. I think im going to do the Velcro on the back mounts like I did for the lr3 body. Other then that Im going to work on fixin up the racks with goodies an stuff.

Here are the pics of the racks and stuff let me know wut ya think!

lol thank you! I was actually considering taking it out and putting the tire on the back roof rack. Idk though its a little big though. But thats cool i woulda made my own roof rack if I had the tools and ability. But being in an college dorm its hard. (I have to sneak in my box cutter and sodering iron.)
