Hey. About to order my first crawler and I have been searching for ages and havent found anything so sorry if this has been asked before. What is the maximum physical size battery you can fit in a scx10tr?

I have a 7-cell humpback (nimh) in mine up front. What i did was cut the posts that the battery tray sits on about 1/2 an inch. don't have any internal pics but heres my truck...

Any battery will fit as long as its close to the same length as a normal stick pack. Just use longer Velcro straps.

How long do you drive with that battery?

I have a 2s 5000mah battery and its 49mm wide(about 1,98") and when I put it on the battery tray it widens the body post a tiny little bit so I thats the max width you can use there before you have to move the battery to another location.

and with 5000mah I can drive for about 2 hours with a rc4wd 45T motor and rooster crawler ESC.
