Default honcho/cherokee/whatever else it turns into

I built this over Christmas break and i already have an extensive build thread on another forum but I figured I would post a condensed one here.

The XJ body has been put off until summer break since I don't have much spare time and I've been happy runnin it with the honcho body for now. an MJ body is also another consideration for this summer.

ironically, the XJ body was the first thing I bought, but it has managed to stay untouched so far.

I'll presume most of you know what the assembly process is like so I'll spare you most of the pictures.

assembled:

body:

used the pactra outlaw black on the inside with a clear flat on the outside. for the bed, I did the top black and the bottom silver.

it's gotten pretty beat up on the rocks but there are only a couple tiny places where it's scratched down to the gloss. hardly noticeable unless you're actually lookin for it

I'm tired of not having an xj body to put on the rig, so I converted my dorm room into a paint booth and painted the 2nd body all black since the 1st body is takin too long

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

That's what I convert my wife's kitchen to when i need to paint....

i wait till she leaves the apartment for a long while so i can get as many coats of paint as i need without getting caught.

Damn glad she's not on this forum!

Good choice on the Irok 1.9's. I mounted a set on my honcho as well. They look awesome with the flat black paint on the cab.

Can't wait to see the finished Jeep body mounted on your rig.

I decided to go with proline's bronco body and floorpan cover instead of the honcho on my project.

However I removed the rear cab cover and left the truck bed open. The spare tire is now mounted on a "Tough Armor" tire carrier which is bolted to the floor pan.

BTW that's the same fan i used to suck the overspray out the window.
