im looking to put a motor in my summit trannied honcho, called hobby shop and they got a novak 550 5.5t he can give me a killer deal on im gonna be runnning it through a sidewinder esc |

it will run it might not be perfect but with low gearing should be fine or i can use my vx3 esc

Power shouldn't be a problem, but your batteries better be up to it. The motor is a higher kv rating than the vxl and makes more power. So it should be noticably faster.

| That's what I am running now. 13/87 geared pretty conservatively.. it goes about 10mph max and has decent low end control and the motor barely even gets warm... and I mean, just *barely* after a lot of driving.. but I am swapping in a tekin sensored 10.5t very soon for uber smooth low end control.
