Default scx10 newbie

So this is my first rig build, i've been on this site for about 3 weeks and find it very helpful with upgrades and good ideas. Well I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to everyone and im glad to be part of the community

this is what i started with






testing out the shocks!!


and the color i went with!!

Welcome to the forum! I'm a newbie here myself, and you're one step ahead of me; I haven't even bought my rig yet!

Did you find that you needed any special or particular tools to assemble it that most folks wouldn't have? Like any extra small hex sizes or anything?

no special tools needed!! i did have a set of losi hex tool kit cause i have a ofna pbs hyper 7 from back in the days. I've been running rc cars for over 15 years on and off the only difference now is i'm running electric instead of nitro. I would recommend a screw driver style hex tools with a handle since there are a lot of hex screws and with a regular style allen wrench it will be a little annoying.

what is that thing in the first pic that looksl ike the Death Star, with wires coming out of it? I have a Dingo and dont remember seeing that part O.o

btw, welcome to the SCX brotherhood..just started it myself and Ive already dumped money into upgrades..lol
