Default 4 link front

I have the honcho rtr, I bought the hand brothers frame mount servo kit and r2j front truss. I've been reading and some people say you can't 4 link the front with the hb kit and others say you can.

If I don't run the diff bracket or panhard bar and use the truss will it keep my front end in check or will this not work. If you have this set up post some pics and how well did it work. I want a scale look but I want funtcion first.

Thank you

Hey Buck, you can run the four link but depending on your servo horn height, you might run into some interference with it and the truss. I've ran that set up before with a horn that dropped down quite a bit and had issues. It can be done, but it will need some fine tuning.

I do have to admit that on all four of my rigs I run the HB kit or a variation of one. Two are the full kit with no mods, one with just the axle mount and my own servo mount and panhard and the other is copy of the servo mount to use on the right side with a three link version of my truss with panhard. I should of asked you what your servo/steering set up was. I like to run a panhard bar with a CMS so you don't get bump steer.

I wanna run a panhard bar aswell but I want a 4 link up front I'm just trying to get input on how it will work and what needs to be done. I'm running the stock horn and servo.

Here's some pics of my modded CMS set ups.

Front of the EB using the HB axle mount.

My Dingo with a RC4WD CMS and my three link truss.

The only issue I know of is since, my truss runs center of the axle housing, the servo horn can interfere with the link mount on that side causing it to not fully articulate on that side.

You should be able to. That's what I did in the rear on my EB. I just had to run a smaller diameter rod for the panhard.
