Thanks for trying that out...now I know where the rear bumper for my Proline Bronco is going to come from as well! Although I have the full cab version, not the CGR...same width though. | |

| my bad! I thought for sure that was the CGR body...I guess that may not work on mine after all; the proline is 7.1" wide and the hpi is 8" wide... Last edited by brianw; 05-12-2011 at 09:57 PM. |

Nice Bronco! You wouldn't know if the Dingo cage fits inside/under the HPI Bronco roof would you? The Bronco is body beautiful and exactly the right size for me but I'm not so fond of the rear fake lexan cage it got stock. Edit: spelling |

| The cage is a little bigger than the HPI body. It might work if you trim the cage a bit.

Here's a couple of flex shots... As much as I want to upgrade parts on this thing, it wheels great and is super light. I think I'm gonna throw some 1.9 PitBulls on it and call it a day. |

I had a few people ask for some close up shots of the hilux and how much the cage sticks out. Not much if you get it just in the right spot on the cab. This is a shot of how the cage is attached. Pretty basic, just a strip of velcro in back and shoe goo in front. Its nice being able to change the battery with just two clips. (Edit- I replaced the battery and ESC ends with Traxxas ones, except for the winch and winch lipo) Last edited by wally101; 10-19-2011 at 09:25 AM. |

I also four linked both rigs in back. Should have done this awhile ago. I just replaced the upper links on the bronco. I have a set of aluminum links for the front, but surprisingly replacing just the uppers got rid of all the side to side slop it had with plastic. EDIT I was wrong.. replaced the lowers with metal links. And the bronco got some headlights and steelies!!! Last edited by wally101; 08-05-2011 at 11:14 AM. |
