Default AX30794 WB8 Driveshaft Set

The WB8 Wild Boar Driveshafts are the factory units used on the Wraith™ are THE perfect upgrade for all SCX10/AX10's.

We named this driveline system after your driving style – WILD BOAR. Yes, we watch YouTube and see your super thrash 'n' bash style SCX10 & AX10 abuse! We've watched you drop kick your clutch, throwing caution to the wind and your rig into the gnar-gnar where only the wild boar can go without an ounce of fear! We love that you trust the Axial brand, but there is neither gold, glory nor any photographer hundreds of miles into the forest. We want to give you that extra security to be able to drive home and tell us about it.

The Axial R&D team took all of this into account when working on a new driveline system solution that would not only be great for the Wraith™, with the next level of driving style we are sure your vehicle is to see, but deliver a factory system that is an easy-to-install mechanical upgrade for all SCX10/AX10's to make sure you come back home from the epic journey. The WB8 Wild Boar Driveshaft Set is THE ONE simple system that will universally work across the whole Axial family of rigs.

Yes, we said "simple system", as in – Super Easy Assembly! No more pry bar pliers! No more snapping Y-Yokes! The WB8 Wild Boar Driveshaft Set is a much simpler solution to assemble, tear-down and inspect.

Other features include:
- Constant Velocity Joint Design [CVJ]
- Full Metal-To-Metal Construction for the CVJ-Housing
- Friction Free Movement / Smooth Articulation
- Metal Ring Protection & Capture for the CVJ-Pin
- Easy Assembly & Maintenance
- Three tube lengths for various applications [Wraith™ / AX10 / SCX10 Dingo™ & Trail Honcho™]

OPTIONAL: We recommend using [AX30435] along with [AX30408] to utilize the cross pin design for secure pin attachment. The Axial R&D team worked on a solution that would not only be great for the Wraith™ but would also make a great upgrade for all SCX10/AX10's.

So the AX80084 will suit a honcho?

AX80084 is just the plastic part of the driveshaft. If you want to upgrade your SCX10 you will need to purchase AX30794. This will include everything you need to upgrade your SCX10 using regular set screws.

If you want to take advantage of the cross pin style mounting, which I highly recommend, you will also want to purchase AX30408 and AX30435. These are the steel outputs that are pre-drilled to accept the cross pin that mount in your transmission and axles.

They look bullet proof, price isn't too bad either. When are they going to hit the stores?

Thats the exact setup I ran in my Wraith at AWCC last weekend in the G6 Challenge. Snow, Sand, Rocks, Tree bridges, mud pits, and a tractor pull. They held up great

Already done. It works wonderfully.
3s lipo , tekin rs, redline 17.5t max boost max turbo running pit bull 1.9's.

( if you look close you can see the arm sticking out for the dig servo mount of a wraith transmission)

Excuse the dirt, she's well loved.

So when are the hd ring and pinions going to be cross drilled as well? The pinion shaft that is. I had to use two setscrews when I found out the pinion and shaft were 1 piece.
