Default Aluminium Links upgrade 12.3" or 313mm

Hey everyone,

New to the forums here just bought a RTR Trail Honcho the other day from Amainhobbies and i just had it delivered, i am going to run the stock plastic links for a while until they break and/or i decide to upgrade them. I see you can buy the aluminum links for roughly $60 AUD, but they are only the grey color ones. Any body know where i can find the orange or green ones or any other color... or are they discontinued? I did a quick search here but could not find anything. Also searched Google and everyone only seems to have the grey upgrade kit.

Great looking trucks on here, ill be upgrading everything too in time using ideas on here.

Ordered the Pro-Line PowerStroke Scaler Shocks (90mm-95mm) so starting to throw them on also, running the stock esc and motor etc until i can afford to upgrade, being at uni sure does have its downfalls..

Cheers for reading,

Adam

I believe axial does have the kits all together... check their site before ordering pieces separately.

The orange links you posted, are they just a straight swap out of the RTR honcho? or do i still need to get the aluminum links upgrade and the anodised pieces on top? sorry for silly questions, learning day by day.

Nothing wrong with learning day by day. I'm doing the same. I wanna keep up to date with this thread so I can see where all parts are available.

Yeah i was looking at stripping it myself, but im not very hands on when it comes to building or manufacturing parts. Anyway ill post some pics up but it will probably be tomorrow sometime when i get my hands on my camera.

I have an idea for a Matt Black paint finish, i think ill just put a few coats on top of the Honcho body, anyone recommend to not do that?
