A servo other than the Traxxas one would probablt be a start. http://www.savoxusa.com/Savox_SC0251...avsc0251mg.htm |

If it's the 2056 it has 80oz's of torque, the 2075 has 125oz's. The 2075 would be about a bare minimum of what should be run, given the torque specs, the more you have the easier it is to turn the wheels. Do you have a pic of how you have the steering setup? |

On my ax10 I have a junky servo with a Heyok BEC. works decently well. On my SCX10 I just put a Holmes BRXL ESC in. The better built in BEC totally woke up the cheap coreless servo. Point is that even a good servo won't help if it is starved for power, and even a 125 oz servo can do an acceptable job if it has enough power. |

The Traxxas servos aren't the best.

i run a 2075 on my rig it works pretty well, I like that its water proof out of the box. I mix my axle drive gears to help a lil with my steering under in the rear and over in front.

As JS412 said, Over drive gears in front and under drive gears in the rear will help turning radius alot... unfortunately, you will not be able to find the over drive gears unless you can get lucky with a used set. You can still find the under drive gears. The more throttle you use, the sharper it turns. High Steer knuckles can help. With many steering set ups, the drag link hits the axle housing preventing full steering throw... the high steer links help that. You could get a longer servo arm but then you'll really need to swap out the traxxas servo. I started with a Traxxas servo and felt it was really under powered for my particular scx10... but she's a big girl, around 10 pounds. |
