| SCX10 w/ RC4WD R2 Trans ?'s
I just picked up a R2 Trans (no dig) for 1 of my Scx10s and I'm not sure if there's a problem or I'm just too new at this. Brand new right out of the packaging nothing seems to spin....is this correct? I'm assuming no but I've never had a trans w/o a slipper so I have no clue?? Next, I'll be running a Novak 35T Rock Star Motor. Will the 8T pinion supplied w/ the trans work well? Thanks for any help & input!! |

when i had my R2 it spun freely, never had any binding issues. pull it apart & give it the once over, see what could be stuck.

LOL, I figured out the problem right away without even taking it apart. I forgot to mention that I had installed it on the center plate already. What I found was that the mounting screws that came with the center plate were too long. They screwed so far in that they were touching the gears, keeping them from moving. I must have been really tired last night! Last edited by papakev01; 08-01-2011 at 02:43 PM. |
