rpphobby.com i believe they have sevaral different sizes also. there are also several threads about metal spur gears, and how they WILL wear out faster than plastic, just something to think about. |

I'd avoid a metal spur as well. Upgrade the internals to metal...the idler and output shaft are notoriously weak, but leave the spur plastic. You want something that will be the breaking point, and the spur is the easiest thing to change.

Definately leave the spur plastic like the others said. I messed up the plastic tranny gears in my truck with brushless 3s power and sand paddles, but the spur is still original from over 2 years ago and still looks like new.
