pics of my 1.9 Honcho from this past weekend's 2.2 T.T.C., placed 4th with 1.9's












pics were taken of my truck with my camera by my brother while i drove, when i wasnt driving, i was taking pics of everything else.

only parts that are still axial are body, frame rails, axle's, and transmission

i made the front bumper, rear tow hooks, and all the links out of of stainless steel to add weight, and keep it somewhat low

futaba 3pl radio/reciever 2.4ghz
novak rooster crawler esc
rc4wd 35t
hitec hs-5645mg servo
hot racing 86T spur, slipper is locked down, stock sized pinion
r2j kustoms rear 4 link truss
losi 4" aluminum shocks, 2 drops of oil in each shock
venom 5000mah nimh 6 cell
5 darksoul 1.9 aluminum beadlocks, fully loaded with mcmaster carr steel pins
5 rc4wd rock lox 1.9 tires, non vented
mip spline drive ax10 driveshafts

next up for this truck is wraith axle's front and rear, 2.2 rock lox tires, rc4wd humvee beadlock 2.2 wheels, steel truggy cage, and a hilux front cab.

Spray it with the hose, blow it off with the compressor, and spray oil on bearings. Done.

Nice pics!
I'm always worried about driving my truck in the mud even though it's "waterproof". Don't want to have to pay for new electronics.

Its just a toy. Rc Parts are cheap, real cars/trucks are expensive hobbies.

I have always thought that same type of concept that they are just toys but regardless they are EXPENSIVE toys. I wouldnt really look forward to buying another HH BR-XL for no good reason. But then again they are meant to be played with. Some people just have a different concept of the word PLAY.
