Default Jeep and Zombie Honcho

It's about time for this newbie to post pics of his trucks. I've still got work to do on both of them.

Here's what I have so far....

Jeep

Atomic Rust Red w/ black top
hitec 645 servo
55T axial motor
robinson racing idler and outdrive gear
over drive gear in front and underdrive in rear
aluminum knuckles
red soft springs
MIP driveshaft

Left to do...
Bulldog 9300XT wireless winch (have it just need to install)
aluminum c-hubs (coming in this week)
proline racing shocks

Honcho
Black with zombie stickers courtesy of Guillotine Graphics
hitec 645 servo
55T axial motor
aluminum knuckles
red soft springs
MIP driveshaft

Left to do....
aluminum c-hubs (coming in this week)
proline racing shocks
robinson racing idler and outdrive gear
over drive gear in front and underdrive in rear
finish installing knight rider light

Thanks for all the help from people from the forum in getting it done this far!

I like them both, but need to get some kinda bumpers on them. Beautiful crawl spot too.

Here is the zombie sticker up close. Prob need to get bigger ones made but I'm pleased with the design.

I haven't figured out what bumper I want on the honcho yet. I didn't like the stock one and it didn't give my wheels enough clearance to me plus I mounted my lights where the stock bumper was mounted. I'll have to get creative and come up with something cool. Been crawling fine without thought.

Bumpers just get in the way.

The Jeep turned out great considering its wheelbase is about an inch to short for the Honcho. Its hard to tell though with the way its cut. It climbs great too. The zombie rig is cool but I'm partial to the Jeep.

Anybody have trouble with stock Axial 2.4 stuff? The Jeep keeps cutting out while we are driving. Jray hasn't found a loose connection yet.

Nice trucks, I have a 55T motor in my wreckluse. The thing doesnt have much top end speed. Lots of torque tho. How about yours?
The only comparrison I have is my SCX10 with the stock 27T and its fast.

I threw a 4000mah battery in there and you can't tell a difference in wheel speed. Matter of fact someone was commenting on how fast mine was this past weekend and the only difference between my rig and theirs was I had a bigger battery

Decided to upgrade one of my zombie trucks and add waterproof electronics (traxxas) and 2.2 tires with Iron Works custom foams I got from Scale Trail Runner's 2011 Food Drive! I also put a lift kit so its strictly for mudding and water adventures and not much for crawling.

Before the lift kit

With Lift kit

2.2 Mudslingers with Iron Works Custom Foams

Here is everything installed finally

Decided to throw my jeep body on it first.

I have a custom paint job and new jeep body coming soon! Thanks to nascarkeith

Decided to put an old honcho body on the new mudding truck until my custom paint job on my new jeep body gets done. Put the stock honcho bumper on too. I have some actions shots in there too!

And action shots!

Waterproof it is!

Had to put in a new Saturn 35T motor which works perfect as well as make adjustments to the links and driveshafts. Runs like a charm now!
