Default 2 door jeep question

I'm waiting on my dingo rtr and jeep body to show up. I was sitting here thinking, the dingo wheelbase is 11.4" and the jeep is 11.8". So does that mean I need to stretch it 10mm to get the wheelbase right?

No, because then you'll be at 21.4mm.

Im confused on this as well.....
.4" is the same as 10.160mm (rounded off to 10mm) how would 10mm make it 21.4mm
Putting a spacer on the one side front or rear measuring 10mm should only stretch it out .4 inches.

Hypathetically if the Dingo was 11.5" WB length
Hypathetically the Front and Rear links measured perfect at 5.75" per side. 5 3/4" if I added a 10mm (.4") to one side it would be 6.15" long totalling WB would be 5.75" front and 6.15" Rear total length 11.9" .4" longer then before

Front @ 5.75" or 146.050mm and Rear @ 6.15" or 156.210mm still equals out to 302.260mm or 11.9"

im really confused now.

EDIT: is it because of the angle of the Lower links and the 4 Links? just thought if that made a difference. Just curious so I can figure out how to add an inch here or there

Yea I knew it was 10mm lol. I don't mind if its alittle longer then the body wheelbase. It just looks stupid if your chassis wheelbase is shorter then your body wheelbase but if the chassis is longer then the body it doesn't look that bad especialy with a jeep. I have to find a 10mm link somewhere (don't have tools to make my own) or I can us one of my 101mm 30 degree bend links I have. The only issue is my other links are grey and my 101mm's are green or blue. I could just sand em down and paint it if it ends up bothering me which I don't think it will. I have enough links to make a "honcho" wheelbase too if I wanted too get another inch out of my wheelbase... Options are endless lol

I didn't really adjust the wheelbase on mine, and I think it looks just fine as is.

There are more pics on my build thread, here.

I don't think they make any in a 12.3" wheelbase. Try hpi in their body section or check prollines bodies. I think tamyia might have a hard body

The 2 door jeep is in a 11.5" WB it will look a little odd on a stock Honcho wheelbase including you will have to trim a good amount to get wheel clearence and minimal rubbing.

I was thinking I could use my 98mm up front and 101mm bent with 1 of my 6mm spacers and running the 4 door jeep but I think ill wait and just buy a honcho for that in a few months .
