Default street xj

Picked this up from EMUTT a few months back andnow have it mostly the way I want it for general allpurpose street/mild trail truck.

Started with removing the wraith shocks and installing a set of stockers to reduce ride height.

Then I lowere the body enough to where the dhfab front and rear bumpers wrapped above where body bumpers would have stuck out.

Did somee mild trimming of the fenders for clearance as well as some fuel tubing bump stops to keep the tires from hitting the fenders at all. Flexx is minimal but this is a mild trail rig so not all that worried about it.

Installed a tekin fxr w/ castle bec powering the savox 360oz servo. And powering the drive train is a holmes 2012 team edition tqmstr 35t.(so much power) Also utilizing the futaba 3pl for reliablility and easy tuning of remote settings.

Changed the stock spur n pinion out to 32p with a 56/15 combo. Insane wheel speed on 3s....

Glued a set of 1.9 mickey thompson mtz's on a set of hpi oversized touring car wheels to give it a little bling and they equal to about 20's id say..

Still gotta upgrade the nucks n chubs but over all I'm happy with it. Will have more pics to better desribe what I said above but here's one to hold over for now

Looks much better now than I imagine it did with Wraith shocks. You gonna CMS this thing for that street look? What tires are those? It's hard to tell from the pic.

Here is a pic from the for sale ad. Lol

Eventually yes a new cms w/ panhard will find its way in there but not really rushing this project. The tires are the 1.9 mtz's in the new X2 compound. They are sooooo soft I love em. Now if rc4wd would just make the rest of their linup in this new compound they would absolutely dominate the scale tire market.
