Looks pretty damn nice for just a ieice of sheetmetal [/QUOTE] Thanks. The underside of it is a little rough, but I am happy with how it looks mounted. It is all sheet metal that was hand cut, shaped, and JB welded together. Toolbox is a gift card holder from Tractor Supply. |

I took the truck out this last weekend. It was the first time it had seen the rocks. Or much driving at all since the bed was designed. I was impressed with how it performed. The added weight in the back did not seem to effect the handling and performance of the truck much. Bent the rear of the bed a touch I will post pics soon. |

Did some crawling today with the new bed. I love this spot because it is right next to this awesome creek. All pics were driven into and all but the first were driven out of. No poser shots here.

The bed is holding up really well. This is the only carnage so far. Only had the truck out twice.

What's holding the back of the cab up/on?

Those are the new ripsaw tires that come with the scx10 truck now right? Those look huge though... are they 2.2's? How do they perform?

It is screwed directly to the cab. This makes it pretty sturdy. It flexes a bit but I couldn't think of another way to do it.

They work great. I almost like them better than the Rovers on my AX10. I think that they hook up awesome on the rocks. I run star cut foams with no air holes. They dont side hill well but if you are going straight up something they are amazing in my opinion Last edited by avanord; 02-17-2012 at 03:39 PM. Reason: Forgot to answer part of the question | |

Picked up a bigger battery yesterday for some longer run times. Hopefully taking the truck out after work. After seeing how my pics turned out I am looking forward to getting some more.

I like places like that to go crawling... It seems more realistic and kind of makes the car look real in some pictures... Nice rig and i like the truck bed, normally i dont like beds like that but for some reason yours gets through that block of liking those beds haha! Nice job keep up the good work... |
