Got myself a Honcho Kit and have finshed building it and installing electronics in it. Loving it so far. Tons of plans for it. This will be the build thread for it. The bed is not fastened down to the cage. I have plans for it. Servo and the titan motor won't stay long either. My electronics list: Spektrum DX3E Traxxas XL-5 Traxxas Titan 12t Spektrum S200 servo Venom 3000mah 7.4v battery Last edited by bluecrush; 01-23-2012 at 04:36 PM. |

Plans for it is gonna be a trail truck/bogg truck. Going to start taring into it this weekend. Gonna four link the rear. Get a cms kit for the front. Wanna go to wraith axles at some point. Gonna redo the electronics, get the battery down lower. Gonna alter the stock body some, change it up. New body is on order. Debating on staying with 1.9 tires or going 2.2 either way will be picking up some scale boggers. Been looking through this forum for awhile and have seen some sweet rigs and ideas. Gonna combine some and make some of my own.

It is Krylon Fusion navy blue. Used just some generic white spray paint to back it with. Used adhesion promoter just for some added durability.

Water proofed my servo today. Got it taken apart to do the marine grease on it. Greased it up. Put it back together then used liquid electrical tape on all the joints and the screw heads. Already started drying some. Last edited by bluecrush; 01-23-2012 at 03:55 PM. |
